Last week, I had the pleasure of moderating a panel exploring political, policy, and press career paths on Capitol Hill. Attendees heard from Brian Phillips Jr., Martha Cramer, Maalik Simmons, and Eyang Garrison about what it takes to be an effective and emotionally intelligent operator in the halls of Congress. Shout out to Black Men on the Hill and the Senate Black Legislative Staff Caucus (SBLSC) for organizing such an informative event.
