I’m thrilled to announce that the Black in Gaming LA Chapter is hosting Blerd Brews: It’s Giving Edition, a holiday community mixer for Black game developers, creatives, and supporters to connect, unwind, and give back. This event is all about creating space for authentic connections, celebrating the season, and supporting a meaningful cause. We’re collecting toys for the Spark of Love Toy Drive, so if you’re able, bring an unwrapped toy to help brighten a child’s holiday. ?? When: Sunday, December 8th, 11 AM - 2 PM ?? Meet Disputed People Games, based in Johannesburg, South Africa ?? Disputed People Games is dedicated to transforming the gaming industry with dynamic, African-inspired games. They aim to reshape perceptions of African culture through innovative and engaging experiences, celebrating the continent’s rich heritage while pushing creative boundaries. They are known for their action adventure game series based on African mythology, Pryde: The Lion of Summer and the newest gameplay rework ?? Khamani, The Lion of Summer ??
