In that short time, Jared has grown tremendously. Today, he serves as a Group Leader for the movement's men's community, The Man to Man Project. His aptitude, capacity and gifting have come into sharp focus by his commitment to service and to the communal good of the BLAC village. He is a pillar among the brothers and sisters that we share community with. We anticipate great things from Jared's leadership in the future! Bishop Mbiyu Chui aka William Moore serves as the Senior Pastor of the historic Shrine Of The Black Madonna of the Pan African Orthodox Christian Church. Pastor Chui serves the Detroit community in many capacities including: Mentor, Teacher, Community Organizer, Lecturer, Master Storyteller, just to name a few. Ordained as a Youth Minister at the age of 18, he has pastored churches in both Atlanta, Georgia (1974-1986), and Houston, Texas (1987-2000) before returning to his hometown, Detroit where he has ministered to his beloved community for 24 years. Bishop serves as mentor to the Coalition’s leadership and frequently contributes an active member of the organization.
