For this week’s #MeetTheTeamTuesday, we’re excited to introduce Daniel Finn – Brooklyn Investment Group’s Co-CTO! Dan joined Brooklyn Investment Group in early 2022. He has played a pivotal role in building our engineering team, the company’s scalable infrastructure, and driving technical innovation. After just over a year, Dan was promoted to CTO, continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible at the intersection of technology and asset management. Some fun facts about Dan: - He is an avid jazz guitarist, having been playing since the age of 10?? - Before his time in tech, Dan volunteered as an Emergency Medical Technician in the NY/CT area? "I'm incredibly fortunate to get to work alongside the excellent engineering, quant, and operational members of our team at Brooklyn every day. We're a small group with an amazing entrepreneurial culture where everyone from client success managers to core engineers are excited to come in every day and push our platform to the limits for our clients."?

For this week’s #MeetTheTeamTuesday, Brooklyn Investment Group is excited to shine the spotlight on Dr. Antti Petajisto! Antti Petajisto, Ph.D., joined Brooklyn Investment Group over two years ago as our Head of Equities, with his primary focus on Brooklyn's tax-advantaged long/short strategies. With extensive experience in hedge funds and asset management, plus a strong academic background as a former finance professor at Yale and NYU, Antti is well-equipped to drive innovative investment strategies. His expertise spans idea generation, alpha signals, backtesting, portfolio optimization, and performance attribution. He is also the inventor of Active Share, a concept widely adopted in the investment industry. "I’m most excited about building things from scratch, having the freedom to design and optimize the best possible product from the ground up. After learning so much at different investment firms and in finance academia, I have been psyched to build our long/short strategies for separately managed accounts at BKLN, knowing that this represents a huge leap forward for our clients in terms of their final portfolio outcomes." Some fun facts about Antti:?? - He is a martial arts enthusiast who still finds time to actively practice - Antti is an open-water swimmer who once used those skills to escape from Alcatraz!

Brooklyn Investment Group is excited to begin a new weekly series - #MeetTheTeamTuesday! Every week for a few weeks, we’ll spotlight a member of our leadership team. We’re pleased to kick the series off with Stella Binkevich, our Chief Operating Officer. Stella joined Brooklyn in mid-2023 as Head of Operations. Since then, she has played a pivotal role in overseeing compliance, finance, vendor management, and client service (among other things), while quarterbacking strategic initiatives for the company across teams. Stella first encountered direct indexing during her time in FinTech M&A and was thrilled when Brooklyn contacted her about the opportunity. “Working alongside the best team at Brooklyn and serving our clients is a privilege. I am excited about powering the growth of our RIA and asset manager clients alike!” Some fun facts about Stella: - Born in Ukraine and moved to Brooklyn at the age of six, Stella is proud of both her roots and being a Brooklynite. - Stella has completed two skydives, demonstrating that she’s always ready to dive into a new adventure — whether it’s out of an airplane or into a new challenge at BKLN!
