BKF Associate Principal Becky Dower, PE, alongside Sammie Reeser and Alexis Saunders, EIT attended the groundbreaking ceremony at the Sausalito Ferry Landing. This pivotal event marks a major milestone for the essential land-side improvements to the ferry landing, aimed at enhancing pedestrian and bicycle access. These upgrades align with California's long-term goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2045, promoting sustainable transportation options in a key area for commuters and tourists alike. The ceremony was headlined by Sausalito Mayor Ian Sobieski, who acknowledged the project’s significance for the community.
