Congratulations to HPI Architecture and the entire project team for the 2024 Concrete Masonry Design Awards Competition - Merit Award for Education Design. BKF was a proud member of the team that provided preliminary and final design engineering for the Welcome Center. The building is a statement-making focal point at the Main Campus entry, featuring civil design elements that include a water feature of a water quality basin with wildlife statues.

Check out the brand-new basketball and pickleball court at Gateway of Pacific! This space is all about promoting health and wellness on campus, offering not just a place for sports but also areas to relax, enjoy nature, and catch a game. The court features a unique, colorful design that complements the campus and surrounding landscape. A perfect blend of art and recreation, and an outstanding collaboration between multimedia artist Masako Miki, CMG Landscape Architecture, Hathaway Dinwiddie, and BrightView Landscapes! #OutdoorRecreation #GatewayOfPacific #ArtInPublicSpaces

Last month, we celebrated the grand opening of a new school building for Lake Elementary School in the West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD)!
