We’re excited to announce that Jack DeGonda has joined BKBM as a Structural Design Engineer! ?? Jack brings a master's degree in #StructuralEngineering from the University of Minnesota and valuable experience in concrete and steel design from his previous work experience. He’s eager to dive deeper into wood and mass timber design with us at BKBM. His background in physics and diverse experiences—including driving the Zamboni for the hockey team at Gustavus Adolphus College—give him a unique perspective that we know will enrich our projects. Outside of work, Jack’s an outdoor enthusiast—enjoying long-distance running, Nordic skiing, hiking, and camping—and he even runs his own custom sauna business. We’re thrilled to have you on board, Jack! Let’s get to work!

This past Saturday, BKBM participated in the 42nd Annual DuWayne "Dewey" Kasma Scholarship Softball Tournament, hosted by the Engineering Education Foundation of America (EEFA). This event raises funds for EEFA's scholarship and workforce development programs, and we're proud to have contributed to raising over $10,000 this year! Our team came out strong on the field with victories, advancing us to the semifinals. Although we couldn't sustain our winning streak, we finished fourth after a tough match final match; the day was a success! It was a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, bond as a team, and support a cause close to our hearts. Here's to another year of great memories and making a difference together! Thanks for representing BKBM, Matthew Ardito, Samuel Wetzel, Grant Magnuson, Philip Cici, M.S., P.E., Sam Dollerschell, Jacob Ducharme and Kal Jackman, EIT #TeamBKBM #CommunitySupport #scholorships
