An enriching meet of like-minded changemakers to amplify impact! On Thursday, 27th February, BJS had the honor of hosting Dr Sudhir Tambe, a former member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council and a dedicated social reformer, at the BJS Head Office in Pune. His visit was driven by his keen interest in our national programs Mulyavardhan by the Shantilal Muttha Foundation and Rejuvenation of Water Bodies by BJS. During his visit, he explored the BJS Water War Room and engaged in futuristic discussions with BJS Founder Shri Shantilalji Muttha and Water Head Smt. Sapana Singh. Being a stalwart of social work, Dr. Tambe is associated with Amrutvahini Rural Charitable Hospital and Amrutvahini Sheti & Shikshan Vikas Sanstha, which work in healthcare, education, and rural development. Thus, he discussed avenues to implement Mulayavardhan and the Water Program through his trust. On 16 February 2025, BJS Bhilwara Chapter and Ladies wing together hosted an incredible initiative ‘?? ????? – ?? ???’ seminar. It was aimed at youth empowerment, familial development, and entrepreneurship growth within the Jain community, witnessing over 400 enthusiastic attendees. BJS Rajasthan State President, Shri Sharvan H. Dugar, led a motivational session and shed light on thought-provoking topics like ‘Meri Beti Mera Abhiman,’ Vision 2030, and 10X Business Growth. All these sessions were designed in such a way that they inspired young minds and also taught them to embrace family values. The event was graced by Shri Ashok Kumar Kothari (MLA, Bhilwara). The Smart Girl Core Implementation Group (CIG) meeting, recently conducted virtually from the BJS Head Office, was a milestone moment in revamping the strategy to amplify the impact of the program. It focused majorly on scaling, strengthening, and refining the Smart Girl (SG) program across India! Key Takeaways: * Welcoming Mr. Deepak Saha & Mr. Sandeep Kumar Ojha to lead the SG program. * Every district is to conduct at least one Smart Girl workshop per quarter for the girls from the Jain community. * By January 2025, 104 trainers participated in the upskilling workshops, with opportunities to further enhance performance. * A structured feedback mechanism is to be introduced and monitoring is to be enhanced. * New WhatsApp & social media guidelines to improve coordination and visibility. * A more intensive residential training format is proposed to refine the upskilling model of trainers. * Six-monthly state-level trainer meetings & annual national trainer meets for sharing best practices & experiences.
