?? BizVets LA Member Spotlight: Xavier Clarke ?? Xavier has built a career at the intersection of military service, entrepreneurship, and program management, making a lasting impact in the veteran community. As a Program Manager for the Ambassadors at the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families - IVMF at Syracuse University, Xavier ensures the success of the Ambassador Program, driving its reach and effectiveness. Before joining IVMF, he held leadership roles at Bunker Labs, rising to Ambassador Program Director after joining in 2019. His foundation in strategy and operations comes from eight years in the United States Marine Corps (2001-2009), where he specialized in global logistics, battlefield technology assessment, and transition support for ill, injured, and wounded Marines. After leaving the military, Xavier spent eight years (2010-2018) in marketing, media, and entertainment before founding Yosa Matcha , a Los Angeles-based matcha tea company. His business acumen and marketing expertise helped him establish and grow the brand. Xavier holds a Master of Business for Veterans from the USC Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Business from California State University, Northridge. Our first meeting at THE BR-DGE in City of El Segundo was a huge success and we're encouraged to see veterans learning from other veterans and generating business leads from each other! ?? Hovig Margossian from Bank of America put on a masterclass on how banks assess risk in addition to best practices for obtaining financing while also opining on the state of the aerospace and defense sector here in Southern California. ?? Michael Segal, managing attorney of Eagle Law, discussed key considerations for negotiating commercial contracts. ??
