Across the globe, billions of people lack access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation services. A comprehensive study, published by Science Direct, spanning 200 countries and territories (2000–2019) has revealed a strong correlation: limited access to these essential resources is associated with higher rates of diarrhea, a leading cause of death among children under five. This study underscores a critical truth: access to safe water and sanitation can mean the difference between life and death. At Business Connect, we use insights from research like this (https://loom.ly/y3Ia7Ew) to advocate for the importance of clean drinking water and sanitation. Our mission is to make these basic needs accessible, with products that empower communities worldwide to safeguard their health. #WASH #CleanWater #CleanWaterForAll #Sanitation #Handwashing #HygieneMatters #WaterIsLife #SafeWater #GlobalHealth #HandHygiene

Foster collaboration, not division. As business leaders and drivers of economic growth, you have the power to nurture partnerships to drive economic success. Economic rivalries can lead to shortages in goods and services, limiting availability for people. But through your business collaboration, you can encourage justice, equity, and greater opportunities for all. At Business Connect L3C, we are committed to these values both internally and with our valued partners. Let's continue to create work environments that emphasize collaboration over competition. I am proud to work alongside incredible partners like those pictured below. More than 20% of the USA’s population may rely on groundwater contaminated with PFAS. These "forever chemicals" do not easily break down and can build up over time. You can view the online map published by the USGS to see the probability estimates of PFAS here: https://lnkd.in/eshN8_HV "This new predictive model can help prioritize areas for future sampling to help ensure people aren't unknowingly drinking contaminated water," said Andrea Tokranov, USGS research hydrologist and lead author of this study. Connect with us to find out how we can improve your drinking water or book a consultation with Jamie Harris, Ph.D., Business Connect's Head of Research.
Millions in the U.S. may rely on groundwater contaminated with PFAS for drinking water supplies

On this Veterans Day, we pause to honor the courage and dedication of the brave men and women in our military, both here in the United States and around the world. Today, while spending time in Port Orchard, WA, I captured a beautiful view of Naval Base Kitsap - Bremerton from the porch of one of our team members — a poignant reminder of the service and sacrifice our armed forces make every day. Business Connect L3C is proud to work alongside partners and distributors in over 80 countries, some of whom have served their own nations. In my personal life, I honor the legacy of those who have selflessly served: from family members who have made the ultimate sacrifice in combat to those actively serving today. I invite everyone to take a moment today to reflect on the contributions of our service members, past and present. Let’s come together in appreciation for service above self, a value that strengthens and uplifts nations. Thank you to all veterans and active-duty personnel for your sacrifice and service. Together, let us honor all who serve and continue to build a community of respect and gratitude. #VeteransDay #HonoringOurHeroes #BusinessConnect #Community #Service

That's a wrap on the 2024 UNC Water and Health Conference! The Business Connect team enjoyed the fruitful conversations we had with partners and new connections. We attended many great seminars and learned further education on water and health safety this week. To have a space that allows policymakers, practitioners, and researches to gather to discuss new evidence and improve approaches to the WaSH sector is incredible. We are always very proud to be a part of something so great and look forward to returning next year! #UNCWHC #BusinessConnect #WaSH #waterpurification #waterfiltration #UNCWaterandHealth #UNCWaterandHealth2024
