At Business Connect, we believe in the power of women to drive meaningful change in their communities. This International Women’s Day, we are honored to spotlight Water 4 Life Guatemala, an organization committed to empowering women to become community leaders in water accessibility. A key pillar of their mission is women’s empowerment. Each filter delivery is run by a trained Lead Distributor, a local Guatemalan woman who is employed as an integral part of the organization. These women take charge of transportation, education, facilitation, and continued community engagement — all while receiving salary pay. Through these opportunities, women gain financial independence and leadership skills, ensuring that the impact of clean water access extends far beyond the initial filter distribution.
