312 SDR applicants over the past 33 days. Here are the stats: Number of applicants who hit the LI easy apply button: 312 Number of applicants who connected with me on LI: 53 (that's correct...53...16.9%....and that's with my ugly mug staring at them as part of the hiring team when they hit apply) Number of applicants who sent me a DM after connecting/applying: 19 Number of applicants who sent me an email: 1 Number of applicants who called me: 1 (same person) If you are discouraged from getting rejected or ignored from tech SDR roles, remember this: (all caps coming)....GETTING AN INTERVIEW IS PART OF THE INTERVIEW!! In fact, it may be the most important part b/c its the part that no one can fake! If you send your prospects one email and wait for their response, its doesn't matter how well you interview, you won't last long. Diligence and perseverance are require so if you were a tech company looking for great candidates why not test them right out of the gate? The interview process is your first sales test. There will be many. If you applied and waited, chances are you failed.
