According to last year's State of TechBio Survey by Bits in Bio, almost half of respondents didn't use any form of LIMS or ELN! This is a survey where a majority of respondents work with biological data in some computational capacity, 75% in industry. If this is your situation, how do you receive and hand off the data, metadata, and results you work on? Email? SharePoint? How are you keeping track of datasets that have/haven't been analyzed for a given project?
