There are loads of tips for presenting material, from your audience remembering stories over facts to standing up straight and taking a power pose. As you approach your next meeting today, maybe you need some quick Microsoft PowerPoint tips to deliver a presentation worthy of a promotion! Try these out: - Color Check: "Check all colors on a projection screen before giving the actual presentation." The screen may show color differently than your monitor. Practice ahead of time with the equipment you will use. - Font Size: Can your audience read your slides? Microsoft recommends avoiding "font sizes smaller than 18 pt." - "Don't assume that your presentation will work fine on another computer." Many unknown tech factors can ruin a perfectly good presentation - make sure the system you will be using has "the appropriate files and versions of software that you need, including PowerPoint." #TechTipTuesday #MicrosoftPowerPoint https://lnkd.in/gYc9_8F5

Why would we share a business article from 2019? One reason is because we still hear business owners say things like, "I didn't realize how critical IT support was until THIS happened!" Hear us out...what if your business made IT a priority? What would that look like? Here's a little insider perspective on some of our top clients, and how we work well together: 1. Annual Network Reviews We meet with business owners on a recurring basis to show where the business is doing well, recommend changes and needed upgrades, and help plan those out to stay within a needed budget. 2. Access to IT staff who can answer tough questions Are you "looking to save money through a cloud migration?" Is your business unsure on whether you need a new server? What about how often to switch out hardware? Answers to these questions can be readily available to our clients when they need them. 3. Open discussion between the IT team and the client team We echo Forbes statement that "IT leaders have a unique perspective on new innovations as they emerge and any red flags they might present." As we learn of new threats, new updates, and new tech we reach out to clients to keep them informed. Is this something your business needs from your IT team? Give us a call! #ITSupport #BITServices https://lnkd.in/ebASJ5kp

"Technology should work for your business, not against it." There are loads of software tools on the market for businesses, but not all of them will be right for YOUR business. In our recent blog post, we discuss how "businesses often adopt and layer new tools without re-evaluating their processes" - this can lead to inefficiencies across the board. To help business owners "balance innovation with practicality," we outline 4 areas to focus on before onboarding a new tool - beginning with "Strategic Tech Adoption." Read the full rundown below. #BITServices #ManagedServiceProvider https://lnkd.in/eNr2gpiA

Picture this: It's March of 1986 - you're tuning in to watch the news on TODAY, and this gem of an interview comes on with the young Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates... Fast-forward to today: After noting the 80s hair and retro tech, you think how groundbreaking Microsoft was, how far computers have come - you may even be watching this on a smartphone, a computer that fits in your pocket. Whether working from home or the office today, you could be using software tools designed by the still-prominent tech giants, Microsoft and Apple. As young Bill here says, "things move very quickly in this industry."
