Earlier this month Birdie took an annual retreat to France. This year we met in Bordeaux and enjoyed wine, food, and beautiful knockers.

This year's Birdie employee retreat was in Bordeaux, France. We like to get together once a year to learn new skills, hang out and bond. Since we're remote, seeing each other in person is very important. Any why France? We have a company there to service our EU and U.K. clients called Bird Strike. Plus we like wine and cheese ;-)

We're super proud of the business affairs support we gave to the Ad Council and The Bail Project with Scheme Engine. We love supporting good causes and think this message is really strong.

This year, a troubling trend accompanies the campaign season: a surge in fake celebrity endorsements on social media. These deceptive endorsements, often generated with AI, falsely link well-known figures to political candidates or causes, skewing public perception. This tactic complicates the landscape of political advertising by misleading voters, making it harder for them to discern genuine support from fabricated narratives. When your clients want to 'officially sponsor' a certain four-year sporting event, and 'go for gold' as they reach their target audience, how do you do it without running afoul of Rule 40? As we've shown you over the last few weeks it's not easy, but it is rewarding. We at Birdie had the pleasure of working with an Olympian, an acting legend, a CEO, and some Academy Award Nominee movie caliber talent in this latest spot for e.l.f. Rule 40 compliant, Gen-z relevant (so one of our teen daughters tells us), and an excellent 2-day shoot made this fun spot possible. Enjoy!
