The College of Business at Pacific University has received a $525,000 grant from the State of Oregon to support an innovative digital assessment and data analytics program that partners Pacific students (60) with (20) local businesses over 1.5 years. This grant is one of 62 awards presented statewide to projects designed to recruit, develop and retain a diverse workforce to better serve the Business Community. My gratitude to Dean Jennifer Yruegas as champion, Kinsey Smith as the grant guru, Ivette Heredia our digital guru at Birdee Media, and finally Jo Isgrigg the mentor of our grant. ? Now the fun starts with Hillsboro Hops & Telvet Coffee as the first two of three companies our COB students will partner with in the Spring of ‘25 to “bridge the gap between academia and the business community”.
