BirchTree Solutions is proud of another successful delivery of our Multi-TDL Operators Course (MOC-120). This course is designed for the operators and maintainers of BATS-D and MOJO systems and is intended to augment hands on systems training. Special shoutout to our instructors, Jeffrey Withee and Ed Delaney as well as the students from the MARSOC community.

To all of our fellow Tactical Data Link (TDL) geeks, Happy Pi Day! Link 16 does not exist without our understanding of Pi. From the construction of the ancient Egyptian pyramids, to Archimedes’ breakthrough approximating Pi between 3.1408 and 3.1429, to Pi becoming essential in formulas for circles, spheres, and waves, shaping history through innovations like the wheel, bridges (e.g., circular arches), and modern technologies like radar and GPS. Radar creates an air picture and Link 16 is invented to distribute it.?Thanks Pi!
