Last week, state and local leaders gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences Regional Laboratory and Medical Facility in Huntsville! This 25,000 SF facility on The University of Alabama in Huntsville campus will support forensic investigations across North Alabama. We’re honored to have helped create a space that advances justice and public safety through innovation and collaboration!

A new chapter for animal care in Birmingham begins! This facility will expand Jefferson County, Alabama's ability to provide essential animal welfare services by increasing capacity, improving staff efficiency, and fostering collaboration with the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. Last month, our Senior Associate Melissa Porter joined a fantastic group for an inspiring trip to Pennsylvania. They toured Camman Lighting's innovation showroom and explored some of Pennsylvania's iconic landmarks, like Fallingwater and the Andy Warhol Museum. Our team had an incredible time at this year’s Healthcare Design Conference, diving into continuing education sessions and connecting with industry experts. We explored how thoughtful design directly impacts patient outcomes and learned about the growing role of AI in healthcare spaces. It was inspiring to see alignment between healthcare providers and designers, driving innovation and better care. We also discussed how healthcare facilities evolve into community hubs, promoting reinvestment in underserved areas.
