We provide strategic guidance and unite key stakeholders on both sides of the aisle to achieve bipartisan results.
关于我们
We are committed to seeing bipartisan policy solutions enacted into law, and we work closely with our 501(c)(3) partner, the Bipartisan Policy Center, to advance smart policies through the legislative process. While reasoned and rigorous analysis is a solid precursor to sound public policy, this alone does not move the political process. To impact the public dialogue and influence policy outcomes, BPC Action engages in aggressive advocacy and implements strategic education and outreach plans designed to bring Republicans and Democrats together to achieve policy changes on polarizing issues.

The COVID-19 pandemic revealed critical vulnerabilities in the unemployment insurance (UI) system—outdated technology, insufficient funding, and ongoing fraud risks. These challenges threaten the system's ability to serve workers, especially as trends like automation may increase displacement. In BPC’s latest report, Jack Malde and Justis Antonioli-Zigubu outline practical, bipartisan recommendations to modernize state UI systems and protect against fraudulent claims. Developed through extensive engagement with policymakers, experts, and stakeholders across the political spectrum, these solutions focus on: ? Improving funding for UI administration ? Enhancing federal support and oversight for state programs By addressing these areas, we can ensure UI systems are resilient, equitable, and efficient. ?? Congress must act now to extend critical #HealthCare programs before they expire. Find recommendations from the Bipartisan Policy Center below:
Time is running out. Key health care programs—including expanded #telehealth authorities and the Acute Hospital Care at Home (AHCAH) program—expire at the end of March. Lawmakers had a bipartisan, fully offset agreement in December to extend these and other critical programs, but it stalled. Without action, millions risk losing access to essential care. The SUPPORT Act, which directs federal resources toward opioid prevention, education, coverage, treatment, and law enforcement programs, was also included in the December deal. But it expired and has yet to be extended. BPC recommends: ? Long-term solutions for telehealth flexibilities ? A five-year reauthorization of the AHCAH program ? Action on key provisions in the SUPPORT Act Learn more about what’s at stake and what policymakers can do: ?? Telehealth: https://lnkd.in/eeqhx2du ?? Hospital at home: https://lnkd.in/gGsxJ22A ??
