?? Fun Fact Friday: Carbon Capture Edition! Did you know? The journey of carbon capture technology dates back to 1972 when the first large-scale plant was launched in West Germany. This pioneering facility marked a crucial step in environmental innovation by capturing CO2 from a natural gas stream. Today, this technology continues to evolve, playing a pivotal role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions worldwide. ?? Why It Matters: Carbon capture is essential in our efforts to combat climate change. By capturing carbon emissions before they enter the atmosphere, we can significantly mitigate their impact on our planet's health. #FunFactFriday #ClimateAction #Sustainability #CarbonCapture #Biosfera
