Earlier this week, BioPro had the pleasure of introducing our foot and ankle portfolio to the MetroWest Medical Center Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program in Framingham, MA. Thank you to Dr Donald Adams and Dr Kari Phan for sharing their knowledge and techniques on our First MPJ Hemi Implant and other devices.     Also, special thanks to our New England distributor Joy Mullin for planning and managing the lab for us. #podiatry #podiatriceducation

Congratulations to Dr William Ericson on his first BioPro Modular Thumb Implant yesterday. Dr Ericson chose a challenging case for his first implant, salvaging a failed trapeziectomy on a patient with a previously fused wrist. The implant allowed Dr Ericson to restore thumb length and provide a stable, solid base for normal joint motion.

Dr. Gary Katz, DPM of St. Petersburg, FL, recently performed a case utilizing the BioPro First MPJ Hemi Implant. This procedure allows for immediate weight-bearing and a return to normal shoe wear within weeks. In today's age of rising patient demands for faster recovery, the BioPro Hemi Implant has proven to be a reliable alternative to fusion, both in the short and long term.   Note: Patient is not weight-bearing in post-op AP view.
