Our 2024 Sustainability Report is here! This year marks yet another year of strong growth for BioPak as we continue to work with our loyal customers, partners and the wider community. In 2024, we celebrated significant advancements in the company’s home compostable range, including the launch of Australia’s first PHA-lined cups and transitioned PLA products to aqueous solutions with new compostable sushi trays and sauce cups - further providing specialist market solutions and helping our customers navigate the current single-use plastic bans. Our portfolio and network continue to grow with two globally recognised B Corps, Huskee and decent packaging, joining our extended family - forming what is now known as the BioPak Group. Our mission is to develop best-in-class solutions that incorporate a range of products and strategies that will help us transition to a waste-free world. As part of this year’s report, I am also proud to announce that BioPak has made a commitment to reaching Net-Zero GHG Emissions across our value chain by 2050, a historic milestone that we are proud to share with our customers, stakeholders and the wider community. We have some truly ambitious plans over the next 12 months, particularly around our own emissions reduction scheme, product innovation and continuing to bolster education to spark conversation and drive meaningful change that champions circular solutions.
