As Mike Tyson and Jake Paul arrive for their weigh in - I know I got them both beat. We just got a delivery today at BioNexus of a manufacturing tool, and it weighed in at a staggering 2500lbs! Can anyone guess what it is?
Last week I had to incredible honor to participate on a panel at UCSD to discuss biology and engineering in space, organized by the fabulous Kiana Aran. For the first time, I shared publicly about how my grandfather led the design of the original spacesuits for Yury Gagarin (first human in space), Alexei Leonov (first spacewalk), and others, in the 1960's. For me, things came full circle, as I sat on the panel with, and got to spend time chatting with a real-life astronaut Kate Rubins, who's ambition, intellect, accomplishment, and warmth was astounding. Kate is currently working on spacesuit design for the Artemis moons mission for NASA. Wow! To infinity, and beyond!
