On Friday, March 7th, we raised awareness for colorectal cancer by dressing in blue and sharing some pizza. Our team joined the initiative. We also provided our screening EZ Detect Colon Disease Test to friends and family to give them the opportunity to do a simple, reliable fecal occult blood test at home and without the need to touch the stool. Early detection is the best protection.

Dress in Blue Day - Awareness for Colorctal Cancer ?? Today, we wear blue to honor those affected by colorectal cancer and to spread awareness about early detection and prevention. Raising awareness, education and providing accessible screening tools are key to preventing colorectal cancer. Colorectal cancer often begins as small growths called polyps. Over time, some of these polyps can develop into cancer. The good news is that screening, such as fecal occult blood testing, which serves as an early warning sign, plays a criticial role. Follow-up or regularly scheduled colonoscopies can detect and remove polyps before they turn cancerous and colorectal cancer can be actively prevented. Early detection is your best protection. #earlydetection #raisingawareness #awareness #CRCawareness

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, a crucial time to shed light on the importance of early detection, prevention, and treatment of one of the most common cancers worldwide. Colorectal cancer affects both men and women and is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. However, with regular screenings and a healthy lifestyle, it is highly preventable and treatable.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) affects 10-15% of adults in the U.S. IBS is a gut-brain interaction disorder, meaning the way the brain and gut communicate plays a major role in symptoms like: - Abdominal pain & cramping - Gas & bloating - Constipation, diarrhea, or both - Mucus in stool & incomplete bowel movements Michigan Medicine and Cleveland Clinic researchers have found that patients with IBS were more likely to experience less abdominal pain if they followed a diet guided by the results of a blood test, compared to those who followed a sham elimination diet. The blood test in this study (our inFoods IBS test!) was specifically developed for patients with IBS and determined a positive test result for each food that triggered an above normal Immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibody response, which is a marker of inflammation in patients with IBS. The study results were published in Gastroenterology, the #1 leading GI journal. Link to the press release: https://loom.ly/gVhsra0 Learn more at inFoodsIBS.com

A new study published in Gastroenterology by Michigan Medicine and Cleveland Clinic confirms that a simple blood test can help IBS patients pinpoint food triggers—leading to real relief from abdominal pain and other symptoms. Key Findings: - 59.6% of participants who followed a personalized elimination diet based on the test experienced significant pain reduction—outperforming the 42.2% in the control group. - Patients with IBS-Constipation (IBS-C) and Mixed IBS (IBS-M) saw the greatest benefits, a major advancement given that no FDA-approved drugs currently exist for IBS-M. - Unlike traditional low-FODMAP and broad elimination diets, this approach targets only specific trigger foods, making it easier to follow and more effective. Why This Matters: IBS affects 10-15% of U.S. adults, and many struggle to find effective treatments. This science-backed IgG-antibody test (inFoods? IBS by Biomerica) provides a precision nutrition solution—helping patients eliminate the right foods instead of taking a trial-and-error approach. Link to the press release: https://loom.ly/yL-0Xbo
