Earlier this week, we welcomed special 8th grade students from The Park School of Baltimore to our BWS facility! These bright young minds are working on a year-long project addressing real-world issues, collaborating with various communities to drive positive change. During their visit, the students got an inside look at our safe and sustainable processes for medical waste. It's inspiring to see the next generation so engaged and committed to making a difference. Raymond's visionary leadership and dedication to the medical waste industry have left an indelible mark. His passion, kindness, and commitment to excellence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. BWS Supports CDC Efforts in Healthcare Waste Management We at BWS are proud members of the National Waste & Recycling Association - Healthcare Waste Institute (HWI). Recently, HWI issued a statement supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) during the federal government’s administrative transition. HWI's diverse membership across the U.S. plays a crucial role in managing healthcare waste, ensuring the safety of healthcare workers, patients, and the public. As emerging infectious diseases continue to challenge medical facilities, our collaboration with the CDC helps us stay informed and prepared. Our Commitment: ? Collecting, transporting, treating, and disposing of regulated medical waste from hospitals, clinics, and more. ? Educating and working with healthcare facilities on optimal disposal practices. ? Protecting public health and safety through timely information exchange and expert guidance.
