We are addressing the need for tissue repair solutions, beginning with cornea. One in 70 patients who need cornea tissue obtain it. Globally 2 million per year suffer from corneal blindness while only 200,000 per year receive vision restoration via cornea transplant. There is currently no first line alternative to donor cornea tissue for full thickness cornea transplant material. Our engineered cornea will be a true alternative to donor cornea.

It was encouraging to hear the Mayor's plans and progress with making Philadelphia safer, cleaner, more prosperous, and more unified. Philadelphia is a special place to me, and I'm hopeful for our future.
