The annual State of Texas Medical Center (TMC) event, held in partnership with the Greater Houston Partnership, brought our community together to explore TMC’s growth and vision for the future. TMC President & CEO William McKeon celebrated TMC Helix Park’s first anniversary and shared updates on the TMC Venture Fund, which continues to support and propel startups. We also celebrated TMC Innovation programs, which recently received the prestigious 2024 Prix Galien Award for Incubators, Accelerators, and Equity. John Flavin of Portal Innovations, LLC, William Cohn of BiVACOR, and leaders from six other pioneering startups in our ecosystem shared inspiring insights.
