Biohabitats is proud to be working with WK Dickson, an Ardurra company on this nature-based solution project to attenuate flooding in the Barberry Woods community. In addition to the flood reduction benefits, this project will create critical wetland habitat, recharge groundwater, sequester carbon, and provide trails and passive recreational opportunities for the neighborhood.

I'm thrilled to see progress on this project that our team at Biohabitats has worked on over the last several years! We've prioritized native plants and nature-based solutions to create a flood-resilient landscape that also restores habitat. It's incredible to see a project that not only protects the community but enhances the local ecosystem progress into construction!
