?? Breaking News: Eli Lilly and Company's GLP-1/GIP dual receptor agonist, tirzepatide, has produced promising results in the SUMMIT Phase 3 trial, published in The New England Journal of Medicine. The study shows significant reductions in worsening heart failure events in adults with HFpEF and obesity, along with improvements in heart failure symptoms and physical function. ?? At Biocytogen, our proprietary RenMice? platform has enabled the development of fully human GIP receptor (GIPR) antagonist antibodies, ideal for creating bispecific antibodies and combination therapies. [NEWS] Eli Lilly and Company's SUMMIT Phase 3 study has demonstrated the transformative potential of tirzepatide, a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist, for treating heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and obesity. The study revealed a 38% reduction in heart failure outcomes, along with significant improvements in health status, positioning tirzepatide as a promising therapeutic option for HFpEF care. At Biocytogen, we’ve developed the B-hGLP1R humanized mouse model, where the mouse GLP-1 receptor (GLP1R) gene is replaced with its human counterpart.
