We were honored to welcome a delegation from the Plastic Free Rivers and Seas for South Asia Project, highlighting our collective commitment to sustainability. This milestone marks a major step forward for Nepal’s circular economy, driven by collaboration, innovation, and impact.
?? ?????????? ?????????????? ?????? ???????????????????????????? ???? ??????????! ?? Biocomp Nepal ’s new plastic recycling facility in Simara is officially open! The facility was inaugurated by Ms. Anjalie Devaraja, Project Director of the PLEASE Project, and Mr. Maarten Nijhof, Managing Director of Biocomp Nepal, marking a major step forward in sustainable innovation. A delegation from the PLEASE Project also joined to celebrate this milestone. At this facility, waste plastic collected from rivers, industries, and landfills undergoes a 5-step transformation—from raw material collection to shredding, drying, molding, pressing, and trimming—into high-quality composite boards. These sustainable boards can be used in furniture, construction, and more, proving that waste can be turned into valuable resources! A huge congratulations to Biocomp Nepal and all involved in this impactful initiative! #pleaseproject #SACEP #UNOPS #WorldBank #Nepal #BiocompNepal #Plasticrecyclingfacility #recycle #sustainability #plasticfree #plasticfreesouthasia
