Brian Stamper is an accomplished leader in cell therapy operations, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and process engineering, with over 20 years of experience in the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical industries. He currently serves as Executive Director, Cell Therapy Operations at AstraZeneca, where he plays a key role in advancing the company’s cell therapy manufacturing capabilities and operational strategies.
Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Brian was Vice President of Cell Therapy Operations at Immunomic Therapeutics, where he contributed to the company’s strategic growth and late-stage clinical development efforts. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Kite Pharma, Lonza Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology, AstraZeneca Biologics, and Eli Lilly & Company, gaining extensive experience across manufacturing, process development, and operations.
Brian holds a Master of Biotechnology Enterprise and Entrepreneurship (MBEE) from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Science in Biologics Engineering from Purdue University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Indiana University.
