Wanumetonomy Golf & Country Club's shaun marcellus stopped by our booth at the New England Regional Turfgrass show last week to share his success story with us in person, complete with before and after pics! Thank you so much, Shaun— we can’t wait to get our Nests in your other ponds!
关于我们
Clean ponds start here! BioBoost Nest is an earth-friendly boost for bacteria that will change the way you treat pond problems. Our subsurface bioremediation units harness the natural power of beneficial bacteria to fight unwanted algae, reduce odor, improve water clarity and support a healthier pond ecosystem. Nests are a long term solution that keeps bacteria continually optimized to maintain beautiful water, often reducing or eliminating the need for chemicals. Pond bioremediation keeps water safe for people, pets, fish and wildlife. Nests help you save labor costs, reduce chemical reliance, meet regulatory requirements and address concerns of constituents. Our patented media is the same that is used in industrial wastewater treatment, but scaled down for recreational ponds. We are installed in ponds located at some of the most prestigious golf courses in the US as well as at botanical gardens, equestrian farms, homeowners' associations, zoos and resort properties. We have a knowledgeable, passionate, U.S.-based team hard at work and available to answer your questions about our Nests. We're here to help change the way we clean water, one pond at a time.

Friend and supporter Brooks Pickering from Thorny Lea Golf Club stops by for a visit at the fantastic New England Regional Turfgrass trade show. We couldn’t be happier to hear from him: "Since installing BioBoost, our ponds have never been healthier. BioBoost is your answer!" Thank you, Brooks!

Hello Providence! We’re setting up for the annual NERT (New England Regional Turfgrass) Show this week and running into big smiles from old friends. Our CEO Jody Fitzpatrick here with Garrett Bastardi of UmbrellaWx. Please come visit us at booth 1028. We’d love to hear about your ponds!

“Is it a lot of work to set up a Nest?” No, it’s extremely easy! For non-aerated Nests, simply attach the legs and lower into your pond with a rope. That’s it. For units that come with aeration, the only additional step is inserting a diffuser tube with a line to your air compressor. Once in the water, Nests do the work of colonizing bacteria to help fight problematic nutrients and keep your water looking its best. #sustainability #bioremediation

An honor to be visited by the renowned golf course architect, author, speaker and past American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) president Forrest Richardson at the annual #GCSAAConference last week. We are still glowing from the excitement of the show! #golfindustry

"Can a Nest be used in any pond?" Most ponds, yes! Any pond deeper than a couple of feet can benefit from our bioremediation units to combat algae problems: ornamental ponds, irrigation ponds, golf course water hazards, equestrian ponds, livestock watering holes and fish ponds. ? One Nest may be enough, or we strategically place multiple Nests to adequately support larger, deeper water bodies. They work with your existing aeration system, or we can deliver Nests with integrated aeration. We’re ready when you’re ready to put us in your ponds! “Why do my ponds take so much work when natural ponds look great on their own?” ? Healthy ponds in natural settings that are clear and healthy have a few contributing features: ? -?They have some constant source of flowing water creating water movement and providing oxygenation -?They have some natural plant life near or in the shallows to prevent erosion and filter environmental runoff -?They have partial shading to reduce direct sun exposure ? These conditions help beneficial bacteria develop, keeping nutrients low and minimizing algae, odor and murkiness.? ? A human-made pond placed on a golf course or in a park or at a zoo doesn’t always have these benefits. These ponds typically have a closed water system and minimal plant life with a sharp delineation between vegetation and the water’s edge. They are often fully exposed to the heat and light of the sun, and receive a lot of fertilizer and road runoff. ? These conditions make your ponds vulnerable to excess nutrients, and, without your intervention, ponds go rogue in no time. ? The good news is you can borrow from Mother Nature’s design by cultivating beneficial bacteria that will consume the excess nutrients in your pond. Regardless of the style of your pond, surrounding vegetation and light exposure, we recommend these three steps: ? -?Aeration: provides oxygen to help bacteria process nutrients faster -?Inoculation: keeps your good bacteria going strong -?Bacterial Habitats: gives bacteria a place in your pond to colonize and grow ?
