(IAPS 2025 ) The 13th China International Automotive Propulsion Systems Summit, hosted by BIMI-AUTO, was successfully held at the Longemont Hotel Shanghai. Centered around the theme "Driving Electrification Transformation and New Propulsion?Development,"?the summit attracted over 330 automotive industry elites from around the world,?including R&D decision-makers, senior executives, researchers, and industry leaders specializing in future internal combustion engines, hybrid powertrains, electric drive systems, and power batteries. Our guest Speakers provided in-depth discussions from multiple perspectives—market, product, and technology—on the future trends of new powertrain development and key enabling technologies.?Over the course of two days, our?summit not only underscored the critical role of industry transformation and ecosystem collaboration?but also injected fresh momentum and vitality into the sector. We believe that "green, intelligent, and efficient"?have become the dominant themes, and the electrification of powertrains has shifted from a mere technology race to ecosystem building.?Companies must strike a balance between efficiency breakthroughs, safety redundancy, and circular economy practices.?Hybrid technology will remain a long-term transitional solution,?while the ultimate goal of full electrification will require cross-industry collaboration.?Through discussions with industry experts, we have observed a unanimous call for strengthening global collaboration between industry, academia, and research?to jointly address challenges such as supply chain resilience, technology standardization, and enhanced consumer experience.
