August is water quality month, and the timing could not be better than this. Access to safe and drinkable water is an important indicator of thriving community. Progress is being made on our Provo River WTP project! Malcolm Drilling has successfully installed a Beam and Lag shoring system. Starting with I Beams driven 30-34’ into the ground. We've then excavated the site in lifts down to an 18’ depth. Wooden beams were added in each lift until reaching the final excavation platform. Now, we're moving on to the next step: ground improvements with 2100 stone columns to be installed throughout the site. Mt. San Antonio College’s new Student Center spans three floors packed with features. The ground floor offers a spacious lounge, study rooms, and a convenience store. The second floor is home to a dining area, Associated Students offices, and versatile meeting spaces. The top floor boasts the Summit Event Center, accommodating up to 530 guests. Enhanced by six elevators and two escalators, the center emphasizes accessibility.
