Did you know that our mission extends far beyond grief groups held at the Billy's Place office? We’re thrilled to bring grief support training to workplaces in our community and SO grateful to the companies that recognize the importance of offering this support to their employees! We recently had the opportunity to host a training at a Walmart location, where we talked about how to foster a supportive environment for grieving employees. We shared this presentation with 25 people, and everyone was very engaged throughout the presentation and seemed to connect with our message. Grief is still a taboo topic that many people feel uncomfortable talking about, but it's something we all experience. Our goal is to equip employees with the tools they need to navigate grief at work and to support each other during tough times. ??

One of our amazing donors called us and said, “I’ve NEVER been more EXCITED to do my taxes!” Why? Because he discovered the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit! ?? His accountant told him that he was either going to owe money on his return OR he could make a donation to an organization he loves. He said it was a no-brainer to donate that money to Billy's Place! ?? The great news is that it’s not too late to take advantage of the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit for 2024! Donations made to qualifying organizations through April 15, 2025, can still be claimed on your 2024 Arizona income tax return. You can claim up to $470 if you're single, head of household, or married filing separately, or up to $938 if you're married filing jointly. Make your tax return something to be excited about and ask your accountant how you could make the most of the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit!
