Celebrating young civic leaders at the 2024 National Civics Bee! Alaskan middle-schooler Emily Brubaker took home the Bill Daniels National Civics Award and a $100,000 529 plan as the National Civics Bee winner on November 12. Hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the National Civics Bee brings together top middle schoolers from across the country, encouraging them to engage in civics and make a difference. The Bill of Rights Institute partnered closely with the Foundation, creating study guides, contest materials, and event content, while BRI’s President David Bobb served as host during the group competition.
