Bigs & Littles had a mind-bending workshop this week at IBM! Our Littles had the opportunity to learn from a panelist of seasoned IBMers and to gain one-on-one advice from additional experienced IBMers. At Bigs & Littles, parental well-being is at the forefront of our mission to strengthen entire families. This International Mental Health Day, we thank the U.S. Surgeon General for raising awareness for the critical issue of parental mental health. We know that children are only as healthy as their families, and our professional staff provide a safe space for both children and parents to normalize talking through stressors, accessing resources, and creating meaningful long-term social emotional connections in our community. Our one-to-one youth mentoring and Mentoring Moms & Dads program are channels for families to grow, strive towards their goals and realize their potential.?As our Surgeon General stated, "Caregivers need care too."
