Exciting Announcement: La Prele Dam Demolition Project Awarded! We are thrilled to share that Big Sky Montana Civil JV has been awarded the contract for the La Prele Dam Emergency Demolition project in Converse County, WY. This significant project involves the emergency demolition of a 135-foot-tall Ambursen-style Slab and Buttress dam, originally constructed in 1909. Our scope of work includes site preparation, mechanical demolition of the dam, utility management, water control, erosion and sediment management, and complete site restoration. We are proud to contribute to the safe and effective removal of this historic structure, ensuring a positive impact on the community and the environment.
