Big Toe Sports was a retail soccer-specialty business. The company focused on selling soccer apparel, equipment and footwear to soccer teams (high schools, colleges, soccer clubs) and players nationwide. The company had established sales channels of ecommerce, catalog, retail stores, and independent sales reps. Big Toe Sports (aka Big Toe Soccer) was founded in 1994 by Dan Nuthals. The company went through multiple rounds of private equity financing, was restructured, and was eventually acquired by Soccer.com in 2005.
