We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to the participating locations of the Midland Empire Credit Union Chapter for helping us sell thousands of rubber ducks for this event. Over $13,000 was raised from ducks sold across 21 credit unions! And this year, we had TWO Quacktastic Award winners! Our winners of our two competition divisions for selling the most rubber ducks are Billings Federal Credit Union and Valley Credit Union! Stop by Billings Federal Credit Union's Downtown location and Valley Credit Union's Heights location to check out these traveling trophies in person! Our Senior Helping Hands (SHH) program helps seniors remain independent in their own homes by providing respite care, homemaking, personal care and nursing services. Sarah Schroefel is an amazing volunteer and supporter of Big Sky Senior Services! ??
From greeting new members to ensuring every event is a success, these dedicated volunteers are the backbone of the Chamber. Their passion for service helps fosters a sense of belonging in Billings. Sarah is currently the Associate Manager of Field Marketing for TDS and have been an active member of the Billings Chamber of Commerce since 2019, joining NextGen and quickly rising to the leadership team due to her dedication and involvement. Serving on the Grow committee and later being asked to be a Chamber Ambassador, Sarah has developed a deep appreciation for Billings and its vibrant local businesses. She volunteers with Big Sky Senior Services, providing dementia education and serving on the Guardianship Council, while also officiating high school basketball and pursuing a master’s in philanthropic studies.
