In guiding Vital Farms to annual sales that now top $600 million, Founder Matt O’Hayer took a path guided by purpose. That means prioritizing relationships with stakeholders—including a network of family farmers with pasture-raised hens—while connecting with impact-minded investors to grow the business.? O’Hayer discussed the company’s journey and lessons learned on combining purpose and profit during the first of a series of online discussions led by Big Path Capital Founder and CEO Michael Whelchel. A new path is not just possible—it’s profitable. As a proud B Corp, our work proves that impact and profitability go hand in hand. Every day, we work with partners and clients to reshape economic systems for the benefit of all stakeholders. ???? #BCorpMonth #ImpactInvesting #GenB
Only 34% of Americans believe capitalism is working for the average person. That’s one of the standout findings from JUST Capital’s latest Americans’ Views on Business survey. But there’s another key takeaway: people WANT businesses to step up and create a more just economy — one where workers are given opportunities to grow and truly share in prosperity. While many businesses are still figuring out what that looks like, B Corps are already proving it’s possible. A new report by WorkRise finds that U.S.-based B Corps lead the way in job quality: ?? 81% invest in upskilling and training ?? 73% regularly collect worker feedback ?? 66% cap CEO pay at no more than 5x the lowest-paid worker If B Corps are proof that people-first business is possible, why isn’t this the norm? ?? It’s time to rethink what we expect from business. Read WorkRise’s report and see how #BCorps are raising the bar: https://bit.ly/4hS4Zy3 What do you think — is capitalism working for the average person? Drop your thoughts in the comments! ?? #StakeholderCapitalism #SystemsChange #BCorp #BCorpMovement

These days, who cares about impact ? I do. Today, more than ever. And so do our employees, our members, our investors and of course my co-CEO Charles-Edouard Girard. We all care about how the actions we take shape the world we live in. I could not be more proud that HomeExchange is recognized by the MO100 of Big Path Capital for the third year in a row, as a company thriving on its three bottom lines. Thank you Elisa Papin, Alexandre Antoine and Lola Florin Wilbrenninck for guiding us on the path towards more sustainability.
?? Reconciling growth and impact: is this a utopia? The MO100 proves that it is not. Each year, the MO100 highlights companies that combine economic performance and social commitment, by comparing their revenue growth and their B Corp score. ? For the third year running, our co-founders, Emmanuel Arnaud and Charles-Edouard Girard, have been named in the MO 100 Top Impact CEO Ranking by Big Path Capital! ?? Why is this important? Because too often, we oppose growth and impact, as if one must necessarily be at the expense of the other. However, these companies prove that it is possible to build a successful economic model while having a positive impact on society. Because yes, putting impact at the heart of business decisions means building a resilient company. This recognition reflects the hard work and vision that drives HomeExchange. We're honored to be part of a community of leaders who are shaping the future of business with a focus on lasting, meaningful impact. It’s a proud moment for our team, and it inspires us to keep moving forward, staying true to our values: collaboration, innovation, and a mission to reshape travel by fostering more authentic, human connections around the world. A heartfelt thanks to Lola Florin Wilbrenninck, Elisa Papin, and Alexandre Antoine for your dedication and support in making this possible! ? #TopImpactCEO?#ResponsibleTravel?#PositiveImpact #MO100

As the second Trump administration works to dismantle hard-won climate action infrastructure, philanthropists have a few choices on where to put their support. Some climate donors are doubling down on policy and putting more money into environmental charities. Kate Williams of 1% for the Planet, for example, notes an “uptick of interest” in her organization since the inauguration. One new initiative would include codifying corporate sustainability commitments in government policy to combat the unreliability of voluntary pledges.
