As we turn the page from summer to fall, I want to celebrate the team who led PepsiCo's summer paid internship program with talent from Chicago's South and West Sides. It's the reverse mentorship that makes this internship program so meaningful--with participants not only gaining work experience and skills but making meaningful contributions to our business. My internship experience leading client events at a law firm in Charleston, WV (where I grew up) informed my college studies and ultimately my career. Appreciating the power of internships, I want to thank my PepsiCo colleagues who led this year's program, our treasured CHI community partners and especially the interns whose participation truly enriched our team. On September 9th, Accenture had the privilege of hosting students from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago and LEARN Charter School Network at our Chicago office, alongside Dave Kimbell and Mike Maresca from Ulta Beauty. ? The students heard from 6 inspiring panelists who shared their journeys in technology and leadership, followed by hands-on experimentation with #GenerativeAI, where they created their own advertisements for Ulta Beauty products.
