Last week, we wrapped up another incredible Bifrost Quarterly. This time in beautiful Budapest. ???? Every quarter, we bring together all our studio partners to reflect, connect, and grow as a collective. These Quarterlies are more than just a check-in. They’re a key part of how we build momentum and culture across the Bifrost ecosystem. They give us the space to: ? Reflect on our goals and progress ?? Strengthen culture and a sense of belonging ? Feed off each other’s energy and inspiration ?? Push forward, share learnings, and level up together A huge thank you to everyone who made it special and for bringing your energy into everything from the fireside chats, the workshops, the reflections, the workouts, and the dinners! Here’s to another powerful quarter ahead! Alexander Wulff Ed Barrow Frederik Juncker Henry Piaskowski Jack Nicoll Jonathan Riemann Feilberg Kevin M?rkvig Bjerring Kwadwo P. • ???????????? ???????? ???????????????? ?????????????? ????????-?????????????????? ???????? ?????????????????????? ??????????????????????? Our GP, Thorbj?rn R?nje, shares his thoughts in Bootstrapping.dk on why early-stage founders should reconsider the conventional path of VC fundraising. Instead of chasing large rounds too early, Seed-Strapping - a mix of lean funding, revenue focus, and selective capital - can build stronger, more resilient companies. With AI-driven automation, no-code tools, and drastically reduced startup costs, success today is less about raising massive rounds and more about scaling efficiently and proving profitability early. The best startups won’t be those with the most capital, but those that can adapt quickly, optimize unit economics, and build sustainable businesses from day one. https://lnkd.in/d2GwXBmH

As part of our push to keep up with the pace of AI, one of our team at Bifrost, Jack Nicoll has created an "AI work twin" He uses it to ask for advice and help on the many Bifrost projects he's working on. It can: > Draft GTM strategies based on my frameworks and past success stories > Help draft emails and brainstorm content > Brainstorm the outputs we look for at Bifrost Studios (and not have to retrain/prompt the ChatGPT bot continuously) > Answer complex questions instantly in jargon that he understands > Refers to some past client meetings and summarise what the latest and next actions are The best part? With a clear plan, it takes no time to build. He's happy to share my process of how he set this up and the key prompts you need to ensure it works properly. >>> Comment "AI" below if you want his free guide!

?? Why is Europe struggling to build the next wave of unicorns? Despite having world-class talent and strong research institutions, Europe continues to lag behind the U.S. and China in producing high-growth startups. Overregulation, high energy costs, and slow-moving policies are stifling innovation and making it harder for ambitious entrepreneurs to scale globally. If Europe wants to stay competitive, we need fewer barriers and more bold action to unlock entrepreneurial potential. ?? Read the full article by Nicolai Rasmussen and join the discussion on what it will take to build more European unicorns.

???????????? ???? ?? ????????????????????: ???????????? ???? ??????????????? Europe is rapidly declining and losing ground to its global competitors. The EU’s real GDP now lags the U.S. by 30%, double the gap in 2002, and its historic lead over China has vanished. With projections showing the U.S. growing 50% faster than the EU over the next decade and China growing three times faster, we can’t afford to ignore the warning signs. Regulatory overreach, high energy costs, and sluggish innovation are holding Europe back. The Draghi Report highlights the urgent need for reform - yet while the EU acknowledges the problem, action remains slow or not existing. ?????? ???????????????? ????: ???????? ???? ?????????? ???????? ?????????????????????? ???? ???????????????????????? ????????????’?? ??????????????????????????????, ???? ???????????????? ???????? ?? ???????? ???? ????????????????????? In a series of articles, I’ll explore the key challenges and potential solutions, from reducing regulatory burdens to rethinking Europe’s approach to energy and industrial policy. I’d love to hear your thoughts - what do you see as the biggest obstacle to Europe’s economic revival? Check out my first LinkedIn article at the link below!

VC-grade research in 1 hour instead of 1 week. Steal our master prompt for free! Our CPO,?Lasse N?rby Rasmussen,?has created this awesome prompt to shorten the time it takes to conduct VC-level research! At Bifrost Studios, we research industries, market dynamics, and startups to decide what to validate and build next. Before AI, we’d commission freelance former venture capital analysts to do this job. It would take 1 week, and we’d have a lot of overhead writing briefs, discussion of the direction, check-ins, and revisions. You know the drill. Now, we do our complete multi-step research in an hour, producing a high-quality decision memo that allows us to decide whether we will move forward with the idea. ????????’?? ?????? ???? ???? ???? ???? 1 ???????? ?????????????? ???? 1 ????????: 1?? ?????? ?????????? ????????: We evaluate ideas based on viability and excitement on a scale from 1-10. Remember, there are 000s of ideas. Pick the fun ones! 2?? ????-?????????????????? ???????????????? ????????????: ChatGPT generates a VC Investment Grade Research Report on the market dynamics, competitors, and opportunities. 3?? ?????????????????????????? ???????? Hercule: Hercule delivers VC-grade insights from top sources in an easily digestible format. The best part is that it doesn’t hallucinate, so we use it as our primary source. 4?? ???????????? ?????????? ??????????????????: Our Purple Ocean scoring tool evaluates the viability and feasibility of the idea. 5?? ???????????????? ????????: All findings are summarized into a 2-page decision memo for quick Go or Kill decisions. ????’???? ???????? ?????1 ???????????????. ????????, ????’???? ?????15 ?????????????? We’re using a lot of new technology, so most of the 1 hour is spent checking the output and sources to ensure the AIs are not hallucinating. Once we trust it, this will be 15 mins. Remember that humans hallucinate too, so don’t let perfect get in the way of great :) ???????? ?????? ???????????? ????????????? 1. Like this post 2. Connect with us on Linkedin 3. Comment: “Research,” and we'll send it over! How do you do research today? Let me know in the comments!

?????? ???????? ?????????????????? ???????? ???? ???????? ?? ?????????????????? ???????? The traditional career path is dying. Not because it stopped working - it's just too slow for what's possible now. 2013 graduates (like me) stepped into a world of predictable career ladders. Get a job at a big corporate firm in London, put in your time, climb the ranks, maybe hit XYZ role by 40. The math worked - in 2013 the average £30k starting salary meant a decent London flat, some good holidays and a bunch of nights out every month. Fast forward to 2025. That median salary has increased to £34k, but with rents at all-time highs, pint prices doubling, and inflation, graduates are now ????% ?????????? ??????. Here's the thing no one's talking about: While corporate careers are getting squeezed, we're watching 22-year-olds build AI agents that replace entire departments. Solo founders with AI stacks are outperforming funded startups. The leverage game has completely flipped. I'm seeing it with some recent guys that I've worked with who have started building as soon as possible (Shoutout Sophus Blom-Hanssen, Lukas Bruell and John-Alex Yannoulias) The playbook that's actually working in 2025: 1. Build distribution before products Your Twitter/LinkedIn/TikTok following is worth more than your degree. Attention is the new credential. (If you don't like the attention just create a private profile!) 2. Stack AI tools aggressively One person with the right AI stack = 20 people from 2013. The math is brutal but true. 3. Hunt for workflow gaps Look for industries still running on Excel and email. That's where the money is hiding. 4. Build micro-tools that compound Start with simple GPT wrappers. Build an audience. Stack small wins into holdcos. The real opportunity isn't climbing corporate ladders - it's building micro-empires with AI leverage. Winners in 2025: - Those who understand attention markets - Builders who stack AI tools effectively - People who can spot workflow gaps - Founders who move fast and ship daily The game has changed. The traditional path is still safer than the start-up world - but the gap is closer than it has ever been. My advice? The best opportunities today belong to those who see what's actually happening, not what worked 10 years ago. At Bifrost Studios, we are working behind the scenes to unlock the potential of these young and hungry builders. Reach out if you are curious about how you can build with us.?

This quarter at Bifrost Studios is our Apollo quarter (formally aka the Chromium quarter)—a celebration of one of the greatest achievements in U.S. history (and arguably world history): the Apollo space program. Beyond the feat of sending 24 people to the Moon, the Apollo missions pioneered over 6,000 new technologies that we now use in everyday life - like the joystick and memory foam. For us, this quarter is dedicated to building the foundations that will allow our studios to grow exponentially in the future. In early January, we hosted a workshop in Switzerland to uncover what our studio founders need to create truly successful products. From this, we developed a matrix to diagnose and address key challenges businesses face. At a high level, it focuses on three core areas: The Crew: What capabilities is the team missing? What’s truly essential for a team going from 0 to 1? The Rocket: The processes that drive growth. How effective are their operations, hiring strategies, and GTM/product strategies? What’s the best way to scale? The Fuel: The critical resources a business needs to thrive. This includes runway (cash), team energy, and leveraging the Bifrost network to its fullest potential. We’re excited about this framework, but we’d love to hear from you—is there anything we missed? This quarter is all about building like Apollo: bold vision, meticulous planning, and insane execution. ??

?? No-code Hackathons are going to change the world??? Hackathons are a great way to leave the busy day-to-day and spend some time solving problems and understanding new technologies. Yesterday evening, the?Bifrost extended team and friends?did a Hackathon focusing on mastering the new AI tools, such as Lovable, Replit, Cursor, and Bolt. In just 5 hours, many exciting products came to life!???? ? Team Sophus?built?Onboarding Pro, a killer onboarding tool that helps companies onboard employees like a pro - check out onboardingpro.app.???♀??? Team Jack?built?Biobaby, an incredible app that helps new parents ensure that their baby is getting the perfect balance of nutrition. He created a customer facing app, website and CRM.??? ?? Team Mats?built out?Kwote, a seamless venue quote product that helps venues save a lot of time in generating quotes.??? ? Team Nicolai and Tsvetomir?built out?Invoice Pro, the new automatic invoicing function for Taxmate, which helps companies do all their VAT, payroll, and invoicing in Bulgaria.????? Team Thorbj?rn and Lasse?built out?Trading Bot, a fully functioning trading algorithm that takes cues from institutional grade macro research and overlays?technical analysis to gain alpha (we managed to execute?live?trades with real money?within the evening!).??? ?? What did we learn? ?? ???The technical progress right now is?mindblowing. Even people with no coding experience can build working software in hours, which is quite impressive, knowing that this would have taken many weeks to develop just a few years earlier. ?? Being a developer is still a?superpower. You’ll run into many challenges and bugs along the way. We were lucky to have three great coders join yesterday who helped all the teams out. ?? The future is?GTM. When everyone can build great products in the future using AI, it’s all about distributing your product to the right customers. —> What should we build next time????
