Congratulations to Cuyahoga County Public Library on the grand opening of the new Brooklyn Branch. This 25,000sf library includes unique aspects such as an Innovation Center, Technology Training Center, Pearson Vue Testing Center, Café, and an interactive children’s area.?Bialosky is proud to have helped CCPL bring this community asset to fruition.
Today was great?for the students at Cuyahoga Community College’s Eastern Campus as the new Food Pantry opened! Special thanks are due to Alan and Barbara Rosskamm and the Meisel and Pesses Family Foundation for their transformative philanthropic contributions. ? Hunger remains a fundamental barrier to educational access and completion for a significant number of college students. The Pantry, a partnership between Cuyahoga Community College and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, seeks to ensure that students in need have access to food and essential resources in a dignified, welcoming space. ? Bialosky is honored to have contributed to the creation of the?food pantries?at all four of Tri-C’s campuses. ? Check out this insightful video from Streetcraft showcasing Van Aken's successful urban planning concepts. Wondering why fake grass was installed on the street outside the market hall? With the collaboration of Bialosky, MKSK, and City of Shaker Heights, we designed the district to support temporary road closures for various events like farmers' markets and concerts. During the Covid Pandemic, we closed the street for the entire summer, which turned out to be a major success. Therefore, we now create the temporary park every summer. In winter, the synthetic turf and tables are removed for snow plowing and to provide more convenient parking for the storefronts. Thank you Jason Russell for the original implementation!
Congratulations to Cuyahoga County Public Library and City of Parma Heights on today’s groundbreaking for the new Parma Heights Branch Library.?Situated in the city’s Greenbriar commons park the branch will be part of an active community hub that seamlessly connects recreation facilities, a community theater, and the adjacent trails of the Metroparks Big Creek Reservation.?In addition to the public library, the 22,000sf facility will include impactful partnership space for the Aspire Greater Cleveland adult education program and The Centers to provide an early learning center.?This unique combination of library services, adult education, and early childhood learning is poised to be a valuable asset to Parma Heights and its surrounding communities. Bialosky is honored to be a part of this team, delivering the facility with Shook Construction to the community in late 2025.

Earlier this afternoon, the May Dugan Center celebrated the opening of its newly renovated facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house. The project includes an 18,000 SF renovation and a 600 SF addition that will enable MDC to expand its services and better serve the community through enhanced, modernized spaces. As a trauma-informed, multi-service agency, the May Dugan Center is dedicated to fostering person-centered empowerment. It serves as a vital resource for over 23,000 individuals and families, offering impactful programs that improve both lives and communities. Bialosky is proud to have served as the Architect for this meaningful, community-focused project!
The Performing Arts Lab at Bard College in Red Hook, New York is under construction! This 25,000sf teaching and performance space provides 4 studios to practice dance, theater, and music. Designed by Maya Lin Studio, we’ve been working hand in hand to make this building a reality. The building rises as an extension of the landscape, being planted with the native grasses it seamlessly merges with nature becoming part of the meadow. Renderings done by Maya Lin Studio.
