This position assists residents of an OASAS licensed community residence to maintain sobriety as they develop their recovery and skills to transition to independent living. All shifts are stay awake shifts. This position is listed under the “Career Ladder” per New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports Substance (OASAS) Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor Scope of Practice, and therefore, all education/training/qualification requirements, permitted functions and supervision levels will be both required and adhered too. The STOP Domestic & Sexual Violence Advocate I provides a wide array of emergency response support to survivors of domestic and/or sexual violence. Advocacy of this caliper include hotline and walk in assessment and intakes, law enforcement and judicial support, safe housing intake and processing, transportation for domestic and sexual violence purposes, outreach and community education in support of combating against domestic and sexual violence. This position is available for Clinton/Franklin/Essex counties.
