We celebrated our veterans at BHS and across the nation this Veteran’s Day with gratitude and some delicious Crumbl cookies! Thank you to all who serve and have served our great country. ????

This weekend, we hit the Tuttle Creek Shooting Park for our very first BHS Trap Shoot Competition, where the only thing stronger than our aim was the wind! Congrats to Jed, our winner, and Mitch, our runner-up! And a special shoutout to Grant, the proud winner of the Friend of the Clay award, who took home a Nerf gun to keep practicing. Watch out, Grant — next year, we're expecting big things!

Manhattan, Kansas Industrial Building Nears Completion Building K, a new spec industrial building in Manhattan, Kansas is slated for completion by the end of 2024. The 112,500 square foot building has 4-lane access to Interstate 70 and is just minutes from Manhattan Regional Airport (MHK) with daily jet service to Dallas and Chicago on American Airlines. This week's groundbreaking of the Childcare Business Initiative marks the first step towards an innovative and impactful community resource- the Flint Hills Community Accelerator facility. As one of four partners to be housed within the Flint Hills Community Accelerator, the Childcare Business Initiative will teach professionals how to be successful in-home daycare providers, by providing an environment to have hands-on practice of running their own childcare business. The Flint Hills Community Accelerator partners will also include Manhattan Area Technical College, Kansas Works, and Manhattan Free Clinic. #buildtogether

The Blue Rapids United Presbyterian Church, a 154-year old historical building, is getting an upgrade! The north side's stone wall is in the process of being removed to allow for new stonework to be built, improving the look and structural integrity of the exterior wall and interior sanctuary wall.
