A nationally ranked business program preparing future generations of business leaders and entrepreneurs The Schmidthorst College of Business was founded in 1935 and currently has more than 1900 students Highlights: Graduates from the college have a median starting salary over $62,000, among the highest at Ohio universities The college networks with more than 1,000 companies to help our students secure full-time jobs and internship opportunities The average hourly wage for interns is about $16 per hour and 78% of business students complete at least one internship More than $500,000 in scholarships is awarded directly to business students annually Business students have the opportunity to study abroad at AACSB accredited universities across the globe Our Supply Chain Management Program is ranked among top 25 in North America by Gartner. Fall Break is here! ?? Let’s take a moment to celebrate all the amazing achievements we’ve had this semester! - We proudly welcomed over 600 first-year students to our community in August. - More than 17 student organizations showcased their initiatives at this year’s student organization fair, providing opportunities for students to network and get involved. - We recognized seven outstanding faculty and staff members for their dedicated service during the faculty and staff awards. - Over 250 College of Business students received a Rising Star alert for the start of the semester, celebrating their commitment and academic success. - Alumni, students, and friends united to celebrate BGSU's homecoming at the Schmidthorst College of Business tailgate tent. - We hosted over 100 high school students for Accounting Day, an event focused on exploring accounting opportunities and networking with professionals and current students.
