?? Congratulations to the BSGU DPT Class of 2026! ?? Our future physical therapists have officially completed their first Musculoskeletal Practice Immersion Lab! ???? In this hands-on experience, students dove deep into examination, evaluation, and interventions for conditions affecting the lumbar spine, hip, and pelvis. They tackled mini-clinical reasoning scenarios, integrated current evidence into decision-making, and conducted start-to-finish evaluations of mock patients—building confidence and expertise in real-world applications. This lab marks the beginning of their journey into clinical application of biomechanics, functional movement, and musculoskeletal examination principles. With a focus on patient-centered care, students developed psychomotor skills in palpation, joint and muscle assessment, functional movement, and evidence-based interventions, emphasizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education across the lifespan. Believe it, they also had a lot of fun doing that hard work! Way to go, Class of 2026!
