Today at BGDC we would like to reflect on last week's activities. Our facilities wrapped up a successful Safety Week filled with teamwork, engaging activities, and a strong focus on safety education at our Atlanta and Roanoke sites. Our associates brought dedication and energy to events like Family Feud face-offs, Forklift Rodeos, 3-point contests, and Connect Four. All designed to emphasize the importance of safety. This year, we invited Level2 to join us during Safety Week, where they offered valuable insights and provided consultations on health and diabetes management, helping our associates take proactive steps toward their well-being. Additionally, as part of our commitment to health awareness, many of our team members have proudly worn pink each Wednesday in October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, promoting education and awareness. Safety Week may be over, but our commitment to health and safety is an everyday priority. In the fast-paced logistics and warehousing industry, where efficiency and precision are essential, a safe and healthy workforce directly contributes to our operational success and customer service. This week at BGDC we kicked off the “???????? ?????????? ????????” campaign! This initiative was borne out of our ?????????? ?????????? findings. While using the power of planning, engagement, and technology, we got to a major root cause for unnecessary inventory adjustments and resulting shrink issues. Now we are full steam ahead with the solution – ???????? ?????????? ????????! ??“When we DO NOT PICK EVERY CASE stores do not receive the product they ordered, their shelves are empty, and their customers go shopping elsewhere! We lose some of that business; a bad outcome for our customer, their customers, and us!” ??Pick Every Case is an in-your-face campaign designed to drive 100% order fulfillment, every order, every case, every time. ??We kicked off the program company-wide today by having the managers grill out lunch for all of the warehouse teammates, hand out custom high viz t-shirts, and hang banners through the building as a prime reminder to PICK EVERY CASE. ?????????????? ?????????????? ?????? ???????????? to those that are “Picking Every Case”, with an amazing Grand Prize when the site makes & maintains Inventory Adjustment goals by mid-December to end of FY2024. #BGDCDistribution #PickEveryCase #SupplyChain
