And just like that, INspire Cafe is open to the public! Thank you to everyone who joined us today for our grand opening. We are so grateful for all the support we have received from the community. Thank you Senator Jason Lewis, and State Rep Donald Wong for joining us today with citations from the Massachusetts State House and to Kate Lipper-Garabedian for sending over a citation as well. Thank you to the Wakefield town councilors and school committee who have supported INspire Cafe through and through. Thank you Pete Davis, Anne Danehy, Jonathan Chines, Ed Dombroski, Mehreen Butt and Eileen Colleran for joining us today! Another huge thank you to Balloons filled with love LCC for providing us with the beautiful balloon arch featured at the front of the cafe. It made for the perfect centerpiece for our ribbon cutting ceremony. We are overjoyed for this space to now be open to the community. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting three of our state representatives, State Representative Michael Day, State Representative Kate Lipper-Garabedian, and Senator Jason Lewis to thank them for all they have done for our clubs including the multiple state grants supporting different initiatives, totaling at $811,303 of state aid. We gave them a tour of our Stoneham clubhouse, had fresh coffee & muffins from INspire Cafe and presented gifts made right at our clubs. We were thrilled to have board members Meredith Lambroff-Brown: Chief Operating Officer of Armstrong Ambulance and Meghan Kelly: Chief of Administration at the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office join us as well. Another thank you to our friends at AmConCorp for lending us a hand and assisting our staff with bringing donated gifts from Vestmark back to our Wakefield Club to distribute to families! We are so lucky to have so many local organizations that support us in providing support for the children and families in our community. Thank you AmConCorp!

Spreading Holiday Cheer ??? We were honored to join our good friends at the Boys & Girls Club of Metro North for a very special delivery of gifts to brighten the season for those in need. These thoughtful donations came from the incredibly generous team at Vestmark in Wakefield. The spirit of the season truly shines through moments like these – where kindness, community, and giving come together. We’re so grateful to play a small role in spreading joy and making the holidays a little brighter.

The MVES Protective Services Department participated in a holiday scam prevention workshop at Stoneham Senior Center. Scammers love targeting older adults, and this time of year, they're working overtime. We had some excellent organizations helping to present and support this program, including Middlesex Sheriff's Office, Boys & Girls Club of Metro North and Stoneham Alliance Against Violence. Thank you to the Stoneham Council on Aging and Stoneham Coalition for a Safe & Healthy Community for organizing this event and making scam prevention a priority.

A huge thank you to our employees who joined in on this year’s holiday toy drive to benefit children of the Boys & Girls Club of Metro North! Together, we shopped for 15 kids, helping to make their holiday wishes come true. Your generosity will bring joy to kids facing tough times, and we’re so proud to have such a caring team. We could not think of a better way to kick off the holiday season than with our this incredibly generous gift from our friends Ice 9 Productions ! They donated nearly $8,000.00 to open the INspire Cafe! This doesn't even include what the Loews family did at our Gala! Chaz, his family, the team at Ice9 represent what is best about this season, and because of them, and so many like them, INspire will be opening in downtown Wakefield soon.
